Got home to this. Mine is the one on the left in the picture (sorry for potato pic).
Same color, same engine, same equipment, same wheels, same year and month of construction, license plates just 5 numbers apart. I actually looked up the VIN and they are just about 10 numbers apart, must have rolled out of the factory within minutes of each other. It isn’t even a particularly popular trim level and was only in production for a couple years, which makes it even more unlikely that they would meet again all these years later. What are the odds?
Felt really weird parking next to it. It was like, I don’t know, being someone else for a brief moment, and parking next my car . The real me. Maybe evil clone Hiroku is roaming the streets? Maybe they are the good twin, and I am the evil one?
Creepy stuff.

Even more creepier. It kinda looks like someone is in the passenger seat (err.... drivers seat that is) in the one on the right. I dunno... my sight isn’t so good these days.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to find whose neighbor that spot is assigned to. It seems like something different is parked there each day though (I’ve seen everything from old panel vans, to minivans, to a Cayman S) so I have no idea what they are up to.

Something like this happened to me once. When I first saw it, the other car didn’t have hubcaps. When I came back that evening, my car didn’t have hubcaps. 8 years later I’m still bitter about it. :(
